Shiftall Inc. (“Shiftall”) is pleased to announce that, as of October 14, it has acquired the “ContactTrack” position tracking technology business from Diver-X Inc. (“Diver-X”).
Shiftall’s mission is to “Step up to the future with unknown hardware and software” The company has been engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sales of VR/XR and IoT products that incorporate position tracking technologies.
Diver-X’s “ContactTrack” business possesses a unique and promising position tracking technology that we recognize as an important component in realizing next-generation VR/XR experiences.
Shiftall has a proven track record of developing and delivering a wide range of products to the global market. We believe that by integrating the “ContactTrack” technology with our expertise, we can evolve it into a more practical and widely adopted technology, transforming it into a global product.
Through this acquisition, Shiftall will leverage the technological assets of “ContactTrack” to further enhance its development of products equipped with high-performance position tracking systems that deepen immersion in virtual spaces. We aim to deliver VR/XR products—including affordable full-body tracking (FBT) devices—that combine high performance and accessibility, contributing to the growth of the VR/XR industry and the experiences of social VR (metaverse) users around the world.

Scope of Acquisition:
Technological assets related to the “ContactTrack” business, including hardware and software.
Personal information such as names, contact details, and payment information of “ContactTrack” preorder customers will not be acquired or transferred.
Acquisition Amount: Undisclosed
Prior to this acquisition, Diver-X Inc. had already contacted all customers who prepaid for “ContactTrack” to inform them that full refunds would be issued by Diver-X.
