This SteamVR™ Tracking-compatible headset, developed in collaboration with the Panasonic Group, features a 4K/90Hz/10 bit micro OLED display per eye and supports HDR. Shipping will start between February and March 2025.
This product features Panasonic Group's proprietary pancake lens and achieves an 8K/90Hz/10 bit micro OLED display with a resolution of 3552 x 3840 per eye and 27 million pixels. It delivers high-definition, high-contrast visuals, providing a world-class VR experience.
With dual microphones, an electric IPD adjustment mechanism, and a glasses-free diopter adjustment feature (ranging from 0D to -7D), the headset still weighs only less than 185 g (6.5 oz)*.
With its remarkably light design and comfortable head strap, the MeganeX superlight 8K allows extended use, even when lying down. The flip-up mechanism further enhances its versatility, enabling quick transitions between virtual and real environments for a seamless and convenient user experience.
It is now possible to display HDR VR content generated by SteamVR™-compatible VR applications with the MeganeX superlight 8K powered exclusively by NVIDIA RTX™ professional and NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ GPUs. The MeganeX superlight 8K’s 10-bit micro OLED display supports 10-bit color enabled by the NVIDIA VRWorks™ software development kit.
This product is compatible with SteamVR™ Tracking and can operate with FlipVR and various third-party SteamVR™ Tracking-compatible controllers.
